Nu post jij een foto in de reacties van je eigen blog. Maar kunnen wij dat ook op jouw blog? Via Flickr. krijg ik ze online maar hoe ga je daarna te werk?

Duizendblad zit trouwens met dezelfde vraag over een overgewaaid hyacintje. Interessant.

Ik denk dat het lukte omdat het een foto is die al online staat op vb. Flickr.
Ik wou net eentje posten van blauwe boshyacintjes, maar hij staat niet online, dus het lukt me niet.

Die boshyacintjes zijn één van mijn favoriete lentebloeiers. Ik heb ze in het paars (blauwachtig) en in het wit. Ze geuren heerlijk als je er voorbij komt.
Jammer dat je bij wordpress geen foto’s kan plaatsen in de reakties.

Ik denk dat hier in België de rosse eekhoorntjes nog in de meerderheid zijn. In feite heb ik hier in de buurt nog nooit een grijs gezien.
Maar het is een feit dat niet alleen de flora, maar ook de fauna steeds meer beïnvloed wordt door al dan niet bewust ingevoerde exoten.

You do find pink and white variants in quite a few blue flowered plants. I would not be surprised if it wasn’t actually a hybrid, but something like an albino form.
I have found white and pink chicory ( cichorei?) and of course forget-me-nots, and many times white and pink bluebells in the middle of a field of blue ones.

About the native versus Spanish bluebells: Quite a worry to see the native ones overrun.

In a survey of almost 5000 areas of UK woodland, one in six areas showed evidence of interbreeding. This indicates that it will be a matter of time before the native ones are wiped out.

It didn’t help that one local council planted thousands of Spanish ones in their local wood, thinking they were the native bluebells. How daft can they get?

What with grey squirrels wiping out the red ones, and now the Asian Harlequin ladybird (lieveheersbeestje ?) demolishing the 25 native European species, we are seeing quite a few changes. Sad in a way. It seems to be a lack of preditors present in their original territory, that makes the incomers survive so strongly and then take over.
