That old saying is one I have always loved along with “April Showers bring May Flowers”. For me the “in like a lion, out like a lamb” always had to do with the winds more than the temperature. Generally speaking if the wind was strong on the 1st and ‘roared’ like lion, then on the last day of March it would be meek like a lamb and vice versa. I did not know this about Leo and Aries. I will be looking for it soon to identify it and learn more about constellations. Plus, I’m a Leo so surely I should know where that is:) I am on break this week but will try to pop in as I am able. ttyl

Hi Anne, thanks for that about the stars. It makes much more sense than the weather for the beginning and end of March. In ancient times the stars and constellations were so very important, without the TV, internet and newspapers to keep people abreast of what was going on. We do like those milder days now, too.
